In depth

Verdict

Warren Greatrex’ string appears to be emerging from a quiet spell and EMITOM will be a short price to extend his unbeaten record in this. Successful twice in bumpers, the Gold Well gelding bolted up at Ffos Las on his hurdling debut and looks set for betting things. Saumur has won around here on the Flat and probably has each-way claims in a generally weak affair along with Playa Blanca.
