      Verdict

Park Star, Stagnite and Midmaar are the three to concentrate on in this contest with the strong vote going to the last named. Having been dropped into banded company last winter Midmaar has found some kind of form and finally managed to get his head in front over course and distance when last seen out in February. The fact that he could be ring rusty is a concern but he has in the past run well fresh and at this level he should still take all the beating. Park Star came good on his reappearance last time out over course and distance when getting the better of Rosiella so confidence should be on his side. His draw of eleven though is a disadvantage so has to be taken into consideration. Stagnite is another drawn out wide but ran well enough last time out when finishing a close second to give him every chance if over coming his stall position. So for the winner we return to Midmaar.
