In depth

Verdict

Little strength in depth to an ordinary maiden event and a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Extra Gear. Gerard Butler's charge made little impact on his debut at Brighton in late October but is better than the bare result suggests as the son of Diesis found trouble in running inside the final furlong and was heavily eased. Sure to have benefitted from the experience, he can open his account. Quick and Amie showed little on their respective debuts and both need to show dramatic improvement to figure but Dubonai needs further so newcomer Radiant Bride wouldn't need to be anything special to go close and should be monitored in the market.
