        Verdict

        DUNGANNON (NAP) went close at Southwell last time but his earlier defeat of Boom The Groom over track and trip earns Andrew Balding's sprinter the vote in this. The latter has won twice since then beating Masamah and Royal Bajan in the process. Pretend has every chance having returned to winning ways over 6f at Wolverhampton a week ago but Alben Star has been nowhere near his best so far this year. Frankie Dettori is back on board B Fifty Two, a dual winner at Chester last year, but Green Door makes more appeal on his second to Kingsgate Native in a conditions race at Beverley last term.
