        Verdict

        Pavershooz would have to have strong claims at the weights here and made an encouraging Polytrack debut at Wolverhampton last time, though he does have to prove he handles this quicker surface and EDINBURGH KNIGHT is preferred. Paul D'Arcy's charge would have finished closer when racing from this mark at Doncaster last time, has won his only start at this venue and will appreciate the step back up from the minimum trip. He looks a very solid option from a good draw. Take Ten looks a danger in spite of being raised 10lb for a comfortable Dundalk win and a follow-up would be no shock. Flipando has won from higher marks than this and is respected along with Billy Red, while Matsunosuke ended a miserable run in a poor race last time but may now be rejuvenated.
