Verdict

Shaiyem made a very encouraging reappearance at Newmarket and started favourite at Chelmsford a few days later but was very disappointing so reverting to Turf looks the right option. Ghalib hasn't improved as expected after winning three times in 2015 but the faster the ground the better for TAKATUL (NAP), twice a winner on good to firm last summer and successful on Polytrack here last month. Dream Of Summer has only won on Polytrack and seems best on that surface but Fox Trotter, who hasn't won since his debut in 2014, is finally getting some respite from the handicapper and can go well.
