Verdict

Dark Parade can outstay the opposition, with Galey River, Little Richard and Fairmorning seen as the main dangers. Gary Moore always does well here and his representative Dark Parade lines up on the back of a comfortable success at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. The step up in trip helped on what was only his seventh career outing and another two furlongs here is not seen as a problem. In receipt of weight from the rest and with more scope, he has obvious claims. Galey River certainly stays and will appreciate being back up in trip. A winner over hurdles last year, that is the route he will be taking again soon no doubt. Little Richard has only had three runs in the last six months but was successful over the course and distance last February. It would be no surprise to see him play a prominent role, while Fairmorning is still a maiden under both codes, but stayed on over shorter at Southwell last time. They are the main players here but the one to beat is Dark Parade.
