Surefast gets the confident vote with Apple Joe, and Hurricane Dipper rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind the well handicapped Silver Birch last time out and with the drop in trip sure to suit he need only run up to that mark to pick up the winning thread. Apple Joe rates the main danger on his best form but he was very disappointing last time so can not be backed with any confidence. Hurricane Dipper and Ask The Umpire have chances at their best but neither completed the course last time so there are reasons to take them on here. In truth, this is a pretty desperate affair which will not take a great deal of winning, and for the winner we return to Surefast who is impossible to oppose.
