TRANSFORMER can land the finale at the main expense of Triple Cee and Persian Tomcat. The selection shed his maiden tag at the 11th time of asking when he beat Waahej in a handicap last week. He was well supported in the market that day and he justified that support to score with a bit in hand. He had a few of today's rivals behind him and he looks like one to stay on the right side of. Triple Cee went close at Brighton last month and she is now racing off what looks a competitive mark. She should be capable of troubling the judge, but it is worth noting that she disappointed on her only previous try on the all-weather. Persian Tomcat caught the eye staying-on well over this course and distance last week, and although he has clearly had his problems in the past, it looks as though he is bouncing back to some kind of form. Bicksta is a lightly-raced filly and she would have a chance on the pick of her form, but she finished behind our selection last time and it is hard to see her turning the tables today. Join Up is another who finished behind our selection last week and there is no obvious reason why he should turn the tables today. There are plenty in with chances but Transformer makes most appeal and he can make it back-to-back successes.
