Verdict

Mango Lady, War of The Roses and Limbo King are shortlisted in this handicap and the vote is given to MANGO LADY. Chris Wall has got his string in good form at present and Mango Lady looks a good bet to provide him with another winner. This filly could not have been any more impressive on her debut at Newmarket when she beat Hammer in good style last month. She looks to have a fair mark for her handicap debut and with improvement anticipated she should take all the beating. War of The Roses won over this course and distance last time out and he does go particularly well here. He is rising in the weights though and he could be vulnerable to something as unexposed as our selection. Limbo King was returning from a break when chasing home Thumbs Up on soft ground at Goodwood last time. He remains unexposed and he could be of interest if the market speaks in his favour. Stuart Williams sends Rationale to post here and if he is the subject of strong market support then he is another that could enter calculations as the yard are very shrewd. Apache Fort is in decent form and is another to consider, but in a competitive event we will stick with Mango Lady to lead them home.
