A wide open ladies race rounds off the card and stakes should be kept to a minimum but something has to win and the principals look to be Resplendent Nova, Scarlet Flyer and Glencal and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection won a shade cosily last time out when beating Moves Goodenough and although having a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and he looks a value bet in an open affair. Resplendent Nova rates the main danger on his latest third behind Al Kaleej. He is sure to run his race but he is becoming hard to win with and at likely odds is taken on. Carlitos Spirit won last time out but his best form is over a longer trip. Memphis Man could have the race won to suit so could go well at a price. Desert Dreamer now looks in the handicapper's grip while Willie Ever has one of the better riders aboard so is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Glencal who won so well last time out.
