Verdict

LINTON represents last year's winning trainer and Marco Botti should have a good line on the form as he also trains Lacan, who beat Big Baz at Kempton last month. The latter had Alfred Hutchinson back in sixth when scoring here earlier and usually runs his race. Captain Joy has been winning at Dundalk but faces tougher opposition in this. French raider Dastarhon has won on the all-weather at Chantilly and could be a danger but Pool House returns from a lay-off and and Brave Echo has little chance at the weights.
