Polar Bear looked a progressive performer last term and is taken to carry on where he left off and score at the main expense of Marshman and Taranaki. The selection made light work of his rivals in two handicaps last season, goes on a soft surface and an 8lb rise for the latest of those successes at Ayr, when beating Nashaab by two-and-a-half lengths, may not prevent him from completing the hat trick.
