      Verdict

      With the exception of Maygo's Joy, who has shown nothing so far, this looks pretty tight. Caerwyn has the past form to figure but Fearless Lad and Pearl Ransom are preferred as they step up in trip. Up Tipp has gone close at Kempton the last twice and is also attempting today's distance for the first time, so another chance goes the way of SECRET SONG. He was returned a losing favourite at Wolverhampton last time but that was only his second start since June, and today could be the day when Sir Mark Prescott's charge comes good.
