In depth

Verdict

Duke Of Florence looks the best of those with experience and had Heavenly Music and Larimar behind when third at Kempton last month. But he's pitted against some interesting newcomers here, not least HURRICANE HIGGINS. A half-brother to his stable's high-class Group 1 winner Jukebox Jury, Mark Johnston's charge is taken to make a winning debut. Manifestation is a half-brother to the smart stayer Sergeant Cecil amongst other winners and should also figure while the American-bred Hope It Is is related to Graded winners in the USA and is worth noting.
