Verdict

ARTFUL ROGUE has an obvious chance given he finished runner-up in a higher grade handicap over track and trip a week ago. He finished ahead of Take Two and Pastoral Music in the process and Amanada Perrett’s charge looks set to end a long losing run. He’s preferred to Officer Drivel, who scored at Windsor on his latest start back in August, while though Maroc was placed on the Turf on a couple of occasions in October he has something to prove over this longer distance.
