        Verdict

        Ms Rainbow Runner gets a tentative vote over the likes of Pix and Secret Tender in a hard one to call. There are plenty of duck-eggs on view in the opener, but the booking of Eddie Ahern for Ms Rainbow Runner catches the eye at least. She has been found wanting so far but maybe the step up in trip will bring about a change of luck for Brian Meehan's filly who was a little unlucky in running when stepped up to a mile here 18 days ago. She was trying to make ground up on the inside and that proved to be a fatal move as she was denied a clear passage, so that should not happen again as she is drawn in stall 11 this time. Pix was half-a-length ahead in third in that contest, but we are prepared to believe that Ms Rainbow Runner can turn the tables this time. Secret Tender nearly caused a shock when beaten in a photo at Musselburgh in August but has not progressed, while it is difficult to say anything positive about the rest. In truth this is a dreadful race and only a very small wager on Ms Rainbow Runner is recommended.
