In depth

Verdict

The less-exposed types make most appeal and Aramis Grey has claims having gone close in soft going at Yarmouth last week. Faregaan ran well for fourth over 6f at the same track recently but AL MANSOURA (NAP) looks the one to side with. Beaten only a neck at Ayr on last month’s handicap debut, the winner has subsequently gone in again and David O’Meara’s filly gets the vote on that form. Mr Gus has finished closer of late without looking like winning while Hi Ho Silver remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Yarmouth in July and No Diggity has switched yards since last seen winning at Kempton way back in 2018.
