RESCENT showed enough on her debut to make her the one to beat today; the list of dangers is headed by Aintwogrand and Mind The Monarch. The selection hails from Rae Guest's yard and she was an eyecatcher on her racecourse bow at Yarmouth when she chased home Arken Lad. She flew once the penny dropped that day and it is fair to assume she will learn plenty for the experience. Aintwogrand was behind our selection in that race and she travelled in eyecatching fashion, but she has had a few chances now and she may have to settle for a place today. Mind The Monarch is eased in grade but she was well beaten in a handicap last time and it is hard to recommend her here with any level of confidence. Precious Coral has shaped with promise in maiden company and it would be disappointing if she couldn't get competitive now that she is put into a seller. However, it is hard to get away from Rescent who is taken to build on a promising debut run.
