Verdict

Any market support for Battenburg would be interesting with the yard in better form however PRESS RELEASE looks an improver for the visor and can see off Triple Agent. Tom Dascombe's colt shaped with more promise on his recent Nursery debut at Redcar when squeezed up at the start but he stayed on nicely. A visor is added to a tongue-tie and he looks sure to run well. Belle Bayard tops the weights but he has a more exposed profile than his rivals and is taken on despite his close-second at Chepstow suggesting he has the ability to gain a first success. Triple Agent ran in the good York seller last time and excelled himself in fourth; he looks feasibly treated on a mark of 63 and any market support would arouse interest coming from a shrewd yard. Jamaica Grande looks a typical nursery sort as he has contested some good races, whilst Ruby Alexander needs to improve for the fitting of cheek-pieces after her Wolverhampton fifth. Battenburg faces a tough task from 8lbs out of the weights and so the nod is given to Press Release.
