      Verdict

      Sciampin makes more appeal than Notabadlad of the newcomers, but Kindlelight Soleil showed nothing on his debut. However, Sir Michael Stoute complicates matters by running two. Audacious proved inconsistent last year with a couple of modest efforts either side of a promising fourth behind three smart performers at Doncaster and a tentative vote goes to LAASHAK. He caught the eye making up plenty of ground in the closing stages to take third over a mile at Newmarket on his recent debut and the longer trip and fitness advantage may give him the edge over his stablemate today.
