In depth

Verdict

Cases can be made for a few of these and the likes of Wanna Shout, Anyhow and My Lilli all have to be considered on this season's form alone. However, Margery Daw has plenty of scope for the season to come and is fancied to be a different proposition as she returns to the track after a lay-off since the turn of the year. The Marcus Tregonning team had not really started to fire when the selection put in a below par effort here behind Dawn Piper in January - even though she was not given a hard time when her chance had gone near the finish. However, her previous form suggested that she can make her mark at least at this level and she has excellent claims about putting herself back on track here. Anyhow goes well at this course and appeals at the likely prices as the one to benefit the most if the main selection fails to deliver this time around.
