Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute sent out last year's winner and QUICK DEFENCE may well be good enough in this. The latter beat a subsequent winner when runner-up at Goodwood in September and this longer trip should suit the half-brother to a 1m2f winner. Legend's Gate has solid claims on his second at Kempton in October while Putting Green also found only one too good at the same track when finishing well ahead of Molten Lava. West Sussex cost 230,000 euros and is worth noting but Tailormade is hard to fancy.
