        Verdict

        Valley Lodge was much improved when only beaten a head at Haydock when a big outsider. Cappananty Con has been second twice on Polytrack but this surface is an unknown. Tiggaliscious also tackles ground with some give for the first time but has been keeping decent company. Rising Eagle was second on good to soft at Brighton, however, so should go well. LITTLE NOSEGAY may well have won a decent seller at Goodwood last month had she steered a straight course and David Evans' grey doesn't look badly treated on her handicap debut. Maazel is also worth a second look.
