Verdict

Sian Thomas is given the vote here with Amir Zaman and Malibu the pair we fear the most. The selection hacked up on this track last time when beating Garrigon and this progressive filly looks one to stay on the right side of. Amir Zaman would have claims on the pick of his form but he does have a habit of racing too keenly in his races and if he does that again here today then it could cost him his chance. Malibu was a little disappointing last time but the return to this trip will suit and he has to be given claims on his recent course and distance third behind Duelling Banjos. The winner has since gone on to frank the form so Malibu has to be respected. Hathlen is from a top yard and is another to note in the market, but Sian Thomas is the least exposed runner in the field and she is taken to score.
