Verdict

Magical Man is upped 6lb for winning in testing ground at Towcester where Cheat The Cheater and Away Down West both fell. He should be in the mix again and is preferred to Goring One, who was winning for the first time since 2013 when scoring at Fontwell last month. MATROW’S LADY (NAP) could only manage third last time but that was just eight days after scoring in heavy ground over course and distance with Veauce De Sivola well beaten. She gets another chance in this with a conditional taking 7lb off her back.
