In depth

Verdict

A few to consider here with Lysander, Copper Bay, Kew Jumper, Silver Inngot and Roznic all entertained but our vote goes to Jam Packed. We'll start with Lysander as he's officially well in today following a comfortable success at Leicester. This is his third race in quick succession after a spell on the sidelines but he appears to be taking his racing well and has a leading chance. Copper Bay was well tipped up when due to run last month only to be withdrawn due to the ground. He ran far better than it first appears at Taunton in a race that is working out very well and he'll be suited by the drying ground. Kew Jumper faced a tough task last time but should feature in this company, Silver Inngot has run well here in the past and Roznic shaped as though he may be on the way back last time but we'll stick with Jam Packed despite concerns about the yard's form remaining. Given that all of his form has been on top of the ground, he ran a fair enough race to finish second on ground that was riding heavy at Warwick. Unlike a few of his rivals, he's unexposed and has a progressive profile over fences having won two of his five starts. He's on a fair mark and Jam Packed can win again.
