Verdict

Maltease Ah showed potential in her early starts last year but went backwards as the season progressed. Chicarito hasn't been seen since a fair run over 5f at Kempton in November but has more potential than most of these and is likely to give a good account but it's BETTY BROOK who is handed the vote. Nick Littmoden's filly, another with a bit of scope, showed a little promise in three backend maidens and will be better for her recent run over 5f here where she faded inside the final furlong after showing good pace. First Rebellion had My Name Is Sam and Marie's Fantasy behind when all were unplaced at Kempton last week and should confirm the places without troubling the selection.
