Verdict

Following the official figures for races of this nature can, on occasions, be misleading when there a number of unraced types set to take their chance. However, as neither of the debutantes, Alphun or Fabulous Emperor, look to be anything out of the ordinary, we take the view that the handicapper has it just about right with Belly Dancer coming out on top at this stage, so Paul Cole's representative gets the nod over Judd Street and I'm Aimee. The selection has been hammering on the door on the all weather in recent weeks and fully deserves a change of fortune. The drop back to six furlongs should not inconvenience her and she is very much the one to beat on these terms. Judd Street made a pleasing debut at Lingfield and picked up nicely as the race unfolded. He was clueless when the gates opened but should be a little wiser this time around. I'm Aimee also has a solid chance at the weights and will be hard to keep out of the frame. Nevertheless, she has already amassed plenty of experience and looks a little risky to recommend for win only purposes in what will be her fifteenth start since March. Therefore, we prefer to stick with Belly Dancer, who can finally gain that elusive first win today. The booking of Richard Quinn is another big plus beside her name.
