In depth

Verdict

PITCHER’S POINT recorded a double over 1m2f on the all-weather when scoring on his reappearance but ran below par at Sandown on his Turf debut. However, the Gosden colt gets another chance back on this surface. Gin Palace drops in class but attempts this longer trip for the first time while Mr Scaramanga scored over a mile at Chelmsford recently, though has won over this far before. Make It Rain and Sandyman placed at Nottingham on their respective latest starts and the former has won both previous outings on the all-weather while You're Hired looks best of the rest.
