Verdict

Night Generation has tumbled down the weights and went close over today’s trip at Kempton when beaten a short-head by Ascendant. The latter has since ran below par at Southwell but with that pair hard to separate preference goes to AUTHOR’S DREAM (NAP). Bill Knight’s charge was beaten only a neck over 2m at Wolverhampton on his reappearance and Jim Crowley’s presence further boosts confidence. Briac ran as though something was amiss at Kempton last time having landed a double at the same track earlier while Topalova found only one too good back over 2m at Chelmsford.
