    Verdict

DIAMOND TWISTER can sparkle and get the better of Give Us A Song and Ageebah. Captainrisk will be popular but Marco Botti hasn't enjoyed the same success at this track as he has at the other polytrack venues and Tom Queally is nought from ten for the yard. Fong's Alibi is interesting but Luke Morris has been riding plenty of winners for Stan Moore which suggests that Give Us A Song, who has less to prove than his stable companion, is the first string. Neither has been seen for a while though and the market should prove useful. Ageebah is well worth considering on her handicap bow with her trainer amongst the winners and boasting a healthy level stakes profit when Callan rides but Diamond Twister is preferred. John Best's charge looks sure to be suited by this step up in trip having had his limitations exposed behind some useful sorts over six and seven. It's an added bonus that he's been dropped a couple of pounds and it's to be hoped that the tongue tie brings about further improvement and Diamond Twister can put his rivals in a spin.
