    Verdict

    Shalambar and Honourable Knight have claims if taking part but both were due to run in the same race at Kempton yesterday. Freddy Q is hard to fancy and Honest Strike hasn't won since recording a double over track and trip at this time last year. That leaves us with the unreliable NEWTOWN CROSS. Jimmy Fox's charge has leading claims on this year's victories over 2m at Kempton, though he gets only a tentative vote in this as he threw in poor effort for no apparent reason in between those two wins.
