Verdict

Most of these do not arrive in the best of form but the only course and distance winner in the field, ROLLIN 'N TUMBLIN is a definite exception. Partnered by regular pilot Jimmy Quinn, the selection has been running pretty well on the Polytrack throughout the winter, including when scoring here in February over this trip. Just inched out here last month, he looks the one to beat on that evidence, especially as his stamina is assured. Honest Strike is also in fair form currently with two recent Fibresand runner-up finishes. He has won here in the past but the concern is that he is moving into unknown territory, never previously having travelled further than 1m5f. Soweto Star has not gone too badly the last twice on ventures over this trip, notably when fourth of 12 behind Guards Chapel on his penultimate outing at Kempton. That was a fair effort in the context of this race and jockey find of the winter campaign, Robert Tart, claims a valuable 5lb. He houses decent each-way claims.
