Verdict

The colours of Godolphin and Hamdan Al Maktoum dominated the finish of Saturday's Dubai World Cup and this race could follow suit. The latter's representative may come out on top this time as THURAYAAT won well at Wolverhampton, despite still showing signs of inexperience. Sequined won her maiden at Kempton in the autumn and should win more races and the pair probably have more scope than Groovejet, on a four-timer after three victories over the winter, and Hedge End. The latter won three times last year but is still climbing the weights. Ifrika was second over a mile here on her reappearance but the extra 2f may be a problem.
