    Verdict

WATERSMEET won back-to-back races on the all-weather early last year and has every chance of performing the same feat today. Mark Johnston’s charge picked up a decent handicap at Wolverhampton last time and comes out best on these terms. Curbyourenthusiasm faded badly behind the selection on his return to action but could make a race of it with that run under his belt and Sandro Botticelli is weighted to get involved if at his best after nearly a year off the track. The remainder have it all to do with St Mary's perhaps best of them.
