    Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form. The principal players look to be Dundonald, Single Track Mind and Warren Place and the tentative vote goes to Single Track Mind. The selection was an unlucky-in-running third behind Seacam last timer out and, although he is dropping in trip, he should get the fast pace which he needs to be seen to best effect and he will be hard to beat. Dundonald rates the main danger on his latest second in similar grade behind Pirouettes, but he is another dropping in trip and is over looked for that reason. Warren Place is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Saty Close but consistency is not his strong suit and he is also opposable. Emperor Cat is from a shrewd yard and looks to be on a handy mark so should be noted in the market while, Night Cap may appreciate the step up in trip and is another that could go well. But for the winner we return to Single Track Mind.
