Verdict

Roninski has looked high enough in the weights since scoring at Redcar in August and last month's Musselburgh winner Kingscroft was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up last time. Haamaat has a bit to prove over today's longer trip and this is tougher than the claimer Lockantanks recently won at Wolverhampton. Elusive Flame is preferred to the veteran Ceremonial Jade as the latter continues to endure a long losing run but the vote goes to GOLD CITY. Below par last time, he has strong claims on an earlier third at Doncaster and has scope for further progress on his all-weather debut.
