In depth

Verdict

It's very difficult to oppose EAST OF TARA as she scored over this trip at Dundalk last month then followed up from a 10lb higher mark with an even easier success over a mile. The assessor has put her up a massive 15lb but she can race here with a 5lb penalty so is effectively 10lb well in. Norah Starr was in tremendous form last summer and has done quite well over hurdles but she's now 16lb higher than for her last victory. Atmospheric High makes her handicap debut but has been going well enough at Dundalk to be considered and the lightly-raced Casimir Road will have found a mile too short at Dundalk and has run well over hurdles subsequently. Darwins Theory won a maiden hurdle at Wexford recently when very well supported so it would be no surprise to see him take a hand here.
