Westerner Point won this in 2016 and again two years later. He's run over hurdles the last twice so looks as though he's been aimed at another success. His close third in the Munster National was another cracking effort and he's closely matched with Moyhenna on that run. Articulum fell when favourite for the race a year ago and failed to complete in his next two starts though would have an obvious chance if getting round safely. OFF YOU GO was rated 151 when last seen over hurdles and though only lightly-raced over fences has enough experience and quality to take this for Charles Byrnes. Goose Man hasn't run since July last year but is a very smart performer on his day while The Long Mile won three of his last four over fences last winter and ran well for a long way before falling in a Grade B handicap at Punchestown last month.
