In depth

Verdict

This looks the most competitive race on tonight’s card. Mister Bells and Ask Cory finished second and third respectively in better company at Down Royal, when Ragnar Lodbrok fell, and shouldn’t be far away here. Clonmoyle has more scope than most and won at Tramore two runs ago but Fox Watch couldn’t cope with another 8lb rise when on a hat-trick at Killarney, though is suited by this trip nowadays. EARTHS FURIES runs his best races here and Jack Kennedy is a very interesting jockey booking for Eugene O’Sullivan’s six-year-old so he gets a tentative vote ahead of Killarney third Norwigi.
