Verdict

EGALITY MANS won a point in March last year before beaten a neck in a Sligo bumper in April. He looks the type to go on to much better things while Oscar Montel can't have been right when well beaten at Punchestown after a much better effort at Thurles. Assemble battled really well to land a Fairyhouse bumper last month and this should be his game but Port Stanley, who started favourite in that latter event on the back of an excellent second to the brilliant Envoi Allen at Fairyhouse last December, was very disappointing in fifth with Axiomatic further behind.
