Verdict

LIKE THE DA, just beaten by Face Facts in-between victories at Gowran and Down Royal, can get a major boost by the winner in the previous race but can take this in any case as he's in the form of his life on fast ground. Ikansea hasn't been out since October but he was in very good form around that time and scored over slightly further here. He's one for the short-list though a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Rockazar, a winner at Bellewstown last August and better for a recent run at Ballinrobe. Redera started favourite for a similar event over the C&D recently but could do no better than fourth while De Dodger, who has claims on his recent placed effort here, appears better with some give in the ground.
