Mia's Vic looked at home on heavy ground when running away with a Sligo maiden last time but this is tougher. Mackey Boy has been raised 7lb for a narrow victory in a Listowel handicap last month while Dont Tell Pa has a lot more to do under a penalty after his victory at Tramore. ON MY OWN hasn't taken to fences on his last two starts but had been in very good form over hurdles previously and his 7lb rise in the weights is reduced by his rider's claim so he gets the nod. Khan Tengri won twice over hurdles in the summer and ran well enough on the Flat last month to suggest he can get competitive.
