EDVARDO gained an emphatic victory at Navan in January and connections sent him to Thurles under a penalty four days later. But it looked as though the race had come too soon as he weakened quickly from the second last. He's had a nice break and though 9lb higher than his victory looks better than a 91-rated handicapper. Uptake showed his first sign of ability over hurdles on his handicap debut at Punchestown last month and would be a threat in the same mood and though Mic Milano is very inconsistent he would have to rate a threat on his victory over 2m3f here in November from just 4lb lower. Mr Jaggers has been well beaten since a cracking run in a big field at Clonmel in December, form that would give him a chance of making the frame.
