MEASURED APPROVAL shot up the weights after last summer's victory at Killarney but he's gradually dropping to a winnable mark and showed a bit more dash at Listowel on Sunday so this looks his opportunity to get back to winning ways. The veteran Maal hasn't won for almost two years though he's had numerous placed efforts in that time and shouldn't be dismissed. Danequest has one victory from 27 starts on the Flat to his credit and though he ran very well behind Killourney Empress at Clonmel he's been raised 4lb and may find this on the short side. Via Del Corso was just behind in that latter race at Clonmel and he's another who doesn't win often while Future Earner has never won in 22 starts.
