Verdict

FOOL'S WILDCAT is a great credit to Gordon Elliott and once again showed his battling qualities with an excellent victory in a tough novices' handicap here on Tuesday. A 6lb penalty makes life more difficult but a promising claimer has been booked and a quick double looks on the cards. Miss Fancy Pants isn't the most reliable of characters and she's on a high enough mark while Derinlaur appeared to find the 8lb rise for his Naas victory beyond him when running moderately at Navan. After scoring at Ballinrobe in September and producing an excellent run behind Anshan Dreams at Cork, Michelle's Express started favourite for a minor event at Musselburgh but ran poorly and that could not have been her true form. Concrete And Clay has been running reasonably well, though he owes his supporters a favour after attracting good support at Navan.
