In depth

Verdict

JOE EILE made a cracking reappearance at Naas and is only a pound higher here. With that run under his belt, he can reverse placings with runner-up Independent Girl and take this. The danger may be President Lincoln, though Aidan O'Brien's colt continues to climb the weights despite not winning. Noimead Draiochta had Newlands Princess back in fourth when getting off the mark at Navan earlier this month and should make a bold bid to follow up off an 8lb higher mark, but Cheers Buddy has struggled since notching a double at Dundalk and Gowran in the spring and needs some help from the handicapper now.
