UN ATOUT was only beaten once in his first five starts, by stablemate Champagne Fever at Cheltenham, before being beaten a long way on his chasing debut at Punchestown. However, he made a very bad mistake early in that race and was lucky to survive so he gets a chance to atone here. Le Vent D'Antan progressed well over hurdles and though finding Real Steel too good on his debut over fences at Naas that was certainly no disgrace and the remainder finished out with the washing. The very lightly-raced Balbir Du Mathan was still in front when falling two out in a very strong event at Fairyhouse last time and Gordon Elliott's front runner will ensure a stiff test. The five-year-old Sizing Codelco is progressing nicely and produced a very encouraging run behind the useful Clarcam at Navan earlier this month.
