Dermot Weld has given SILVER CONCORDE a long break after his defeat by Cul Baire at Galway last summer where he didn't look over-enthusiastic. He was only four lengths behind Jezki on his debut on this track earlier that year so anything like that kind of form will suffice. King Leon didn't show much on his opening run but did much better behind the useful Shaneshill at Fairyhouse and should improve again. Noel Meade has been in good form so the Maralin point-to-point winner On Your Eoin, who went for £55,000 at the sales after the race, should be noted along with Volvalien, who will have come on for his run at Fairyhouse.
